Parness Cruises
Parness Cruises opened in 2006 and remains an independent company on la River Seine. The head office has been located in Orly since 2010.
Believing in the strong potential of a boat that reveals 21 fully-equipped cabins, the general management buys l’Esprit d’Europe in 2006 in order to develop its activities downtown Paris, and make it the first sailing yacht hotel in the French capital. It rebrands the ship as the VIP Paris.
The VIP Paris four activities consist of :
- Corporate events (lien): the ship size and its hosting capabilities make it the perfect venue for residential and unusual seminar in Paris or direction committees.
- Individual events: wedding on yacht in Paris, boat dinner for birthdays, family reunions on an original venue etc.
- Boat Dinner and Cruise in Paris, including one night onboard: this offer has been rebranded in December 2010 and includes a more romantic program.
- Tourism, as discovery cruises from 2 to 4 days, thematically planned around culture, history or gastronomy
Our current growth relies on :
- Sales : Parness cruises has benefited from a +30% yearly growth since 2009. In 2011, the VIP Paris rebrands the dinner cruises, and includes a more romantic program. As for corporate events, the VIP Paris markets a more intimate venue that fosters creativity and exchange between passengers. The success is immediate as the 2011 turnover grows by +71%.
- Operations : Thanks to the rebranding of dinner cruises on a romantic mode for couples, more than 5000 passengers are expected in 2011. The reputation is extremely positive and the VIP Paris Facebook community grows rapidly. By adding passengers from corporate and private events, more than 10000 people have stayed onboard of the VIP Paris yacht hotel in 2011.
- Strategy : the VIP Paris accelerates its development by implementing new and prestigious alliances on each of its activities:
- Tourism : the VIP Paris intervenes in workshops of Port de Paris and is an active member of the future statistical Observatory. For the second time, the VIP Paris collaborates with the Paris Convention bureau and is an active member of the China Committee and Brasil Committee.
- Dinner Cruises in Paris: In 2011, the VIP Paris associates with the prestigious Théatre du Chatelet to celebrate the reprogramming of Tanguera, a musical about Tango. Together, we initiated an exclusive cultural program to extend the romantic experience from the prestigious theater walls to the romantic bridges of Paris.
